Cambodia has an active gold market centred on Phnom Penh's Central Market (Psar Thmei) and Orussey Market. Prices are quoted per damleung (37.5 g) and per chi (3.75 g) in US dollars or Cambodian riel.

Taxes and import duties

There is no VAT on investment gold. Imported jewellery is subject to a 10% customs duty and 10% VAT, but bullion is largely untaxed.
